"My gumbo was super bland and the balance of rice to the rest of it was off. I helped it out with a generous amount of salt, pepper, and Tabasco sauce. My wife had the Shrimp Po-Boy. It is HUGE. Probably 12-14 inches long and super-stuffed (as advertised). Her shrimp was super good and perfectly cooked. The rest of it was just so-so. I like the vibes of the location. There's even a bobcat in the men's restroom. I would try it again though. Worth a visit!"

"Not for an hour lunch break. it took 45 minutes to eat the appetizer boneless wing with something cold almost too hard to eat waffelfries. $20 lunch! I'm here regularly and that was disappointing. very slow and expensive. I always had a good service at the weekends when all this matters, but I'm sitting at the bar so good job bartender."

"Another a mazing local food joint that has live music on Fridays and Saturdays in the evening. Full delicious locally sourced dishes, specializing in seafood and cajun recipes. Full bar, specialty cocktails served in actual glass cocktail glassware, bottled beer and a slew of draught beers, with a small wine selection. The food is incredibly tastey and huge portions as is par for south Louisiana local favorites. This one did not disappoint! They have boudin eggrolls stuffed with melty pepper Jack cheese that oozes out the center where they were cut. Served with a housemade honey chipotle pepper sauce. Ummhumm delish! So good, y 'all! I sucked them down! The bartenders were super nice and genuine souls. It was a pleasure to talk with them as they prepped for their big steak special night 2 ribeyes with 4 sides to share for $35! You cannot beat that deal. Plus, everything is top notch prepared, just like on regular menu days (not like some dive bars, that serve soon to be expired meat call it a steak nite KnowWhatIMean!
