I have the 3 Californian suppe and salat deal and 2 hot sake. it was 30 minutes before closing. filz slightly hurried and the heart god was overheated, the alcohol was boiled. 5 stars, because sushi was with tons on ingwer super was and was provided with rolling. a lot of 30 . the sushi cook was very nice. still my favorite sushi joint! not great experience, my filled beer was not cold as anything. the salat dressing was simply abandoned and was borderline acid. the dragon sushi roll was fine. I also had the soon dubu korea suppe, which lacked deep of taste and watery 2 pieces overcooked garnel without substance with the tofu in the ground crushed. we give this place no second chance. A decent place for Japanese and Korean foods. Order the Bibimbap, who was very good. The cast iron bowl came out sizzling hot, which made the bottom of the rice crispy. The Don-Darm was also very good, but the beef was boiled. Also had too poke intestines that were good, but it had too much salad in it. The prices were average and the service was good.
Tokyo sushi has to be the best sushi spot in New Paltz. We ordered different types of sushi and rolls, the best one among them was the spicy tuna It just hits the right spot. The spider roll was really good too. They have a good menu to choose from. Would love to go back and try different things on the menu. The service is really good and the staff are friendly. The place was clean and they maintained social distancing. Its highly recommended if you visit New Paltz.
Korean dishes are amazing. Bulgogi and Bimbibap are highly recommended. Edit: New visit, August 2020 Bulgogi bento box and Bimbibap again and always 100% delecious. Shrimp tempura sushi roll was one of the best sushis I've ever had. Seriously try it. And the Kimchi was perfect. This place is amazing!
Came here for a casual dinner with a friend. I believe the place is currently under construction, considering how half the restaurnt was blocked off. The service was good, they forgot a few things here and there but overall they were very nice. I got the soondubu jjigae (soft tofu stew and the futomaki roll, while my friend got the bibimbap and the spider roll(? . Got a miso soup and a side salad before my food came. The main foods were good. The rolls were good too...but the rolls were a little different from what I usually get at other sushi places..
Good sushi spot. Fast and friendly service and the tea was delicious! Highly recommended. got a dinner special with the roll i got and it came with Ginger salad and Miso Soup! All the sushi was very good.
