Booked an evening meal. have to say that overall the food was lovely but heard next table expressing concerns about 'tough ' meat. Very expensive in my opinion....

Recommended by our hosts at Glendine House. Had roast beef, shared. The beef was perfect! Excellent reputation is well deserved!

"We had a lovely seafood meal. Service was good, staff were masked. However, no evidence of covid vaccination was requested on entry (we booked by phone; a contact number was requested then but no enquiry was made re covid status). There were no windows open...in the dining room. It was not full when we arrived and alternatives in the area are limited so we decided to stay for a main. It started to fill up so we ate quickly and left. If we had felt safer there is a strong chance we would have had starter, dessert, coffee. But we didnt..."

"I’m driving around Ireland for 2 weeks and was lucky to get a room due to a cancellation. Billy Joanne treated me like family during my stay. I had a lovely room upstairs and enjoyed dinner and breakfast with them. I was told they are fully booked for months…. I hope to return one day."

"We dropped in for bite n were v happy with food n service..I had roast beef for lunch n lads had home made soup n goats cheese..I also took home few fresh scones..I liked the local artwork on walls also..no bother with parking n John the owner came over during the meal to ask if everything was OK.. it had been recommended by our son."

"I was looking for a contact email for Pa Pa Thai because I would have liked to send them an email rather than write a public review, but couldn't find it. I recently ordered a takeaway and the most positive thing was that the delivery time was really good and fast 2 hours in lockdown . I got vegetable spring rolls and found 4 small rolls with a tiny bit of sweet and sour dip for €5.45 too pricey. Had boiled rice and stir fry vegetables. The vegetables were fresh but literally swam in some brown soy? Water. Quite disappointed and won't be ordering again. Not a patch on lockdown quality.
