Great food, ambiente and service. teller are delicious and generous portions!
Yasouvlaki is a really great restaurant. eating is consistently excellent and the portions are very considerable. the spanokopita is wonderful as all souvlaki platter and sandwiches. the whole staff is great, especially evangeless. everyone is warm, welcoming, helpful and responsive. they have an excellent exterior that is spacious, warm and comfortable. go and enjoy a fantastic culinary experience.
We are very happy to have this place close to where we live. I wish they would add some smaller size salads to the menu. Baklava was delicious but served too cold.
Walked in at 5:30 for reservation for party of 5. Room small but nicely decorated. Waitstaff was friendly and helpful. Overall, the food was PRICEY despite what other reviewers seem to say). Food was disappointing AWFUL). Greek salad looked good. I ordered soup which was good too. I wanted lamb so I ordered an entree of mixed ground beef and lamb. It was basically tasteless! A young man in our party who knows Greek food as he just visited his father in Greece) ordered $24 moussaka)—small portion and soupy. He ate a bit of it and as we left the restaurant, he said he was hungry and would have to go elsewhere to get a sandwich. Later the small restaurant was crowded and VERY VERY NOISY low ceiling). So small with tables on top of each other as we departed two other table of diners had to get out of their seats. I conclude this place has an identity crisis. It wants to be a pub and an up-scale eatery at the same time. Right now it is failing at both. Stay away if you want a relaxing dinner experience.
