Phenomenal Italian place in Newark. Not open as often as I like, but the drinks are absolutely frigid, the bread is hot, savory, and wonderful, and the prices are practically to die for. A 7$ lunch special? 40$ to feed four employees? Incredible. Got ameatball calzone, was more of a beef calzone (that's ok, it was off menu), but it was still flavorful and delicious. Guy's you need to do some serious clean up. I was waiting on my food and was walking around first looking at ads and noticed your lobby walls, and floors were filthy. Like no cleaning in months. "Fist and foremost the hostess was rude! He indicated he knew what he was doing when I asked when we would be seated after waiting over 30 minutes and seeing 2 parties get seated before ours, we had six the other parties had 4 each, he basicallyrefused to serve our party to maximize 2 extra seats! The food is average but due to the location it stands out( in FT Worth itwould probably not survive). The prices are high for a location with a vibe of a diner. On a positive note, it?s BYOB."
