"This place has incredibly yummy unique pizza and even MORE incredible staff. So pleasantly surprised and very happy to meet Loralee in January 2022 at the Newburgh Azzip. Loralee is the young chef/lead manager who possesses EXCELLENT customer service skills. People generally negatively stereotype members of her young generation, but as a 40-something much older than her, I can attest to the fact that not everyone is the same and Loralee is a highly commendable role model for her peers. Loralee, you are an irreplaceable asset to the Azzip family and you must be making all of your loved ones so proud!"

"We dined here 2 weeks in a row with a different couple each time. The first visit we had the tacos grilled snapper papaya salsa and they were delicious! The other couple had fish and chips and were very happy with their dish....The second week we decided to share the grilled mixed seafood platter and it left a lot to be desired! Neither of us liked the fish as it was all seasoned the same and tasted the same. Shrimp scallops were ok. One of the fish (couldn’t tell which was which) was quite fishy tasting. The fish did not have a “grilled” taste, just seared I guess?? Presentation was lacking as the fish was just sitting on some plain shredded cabbage. The side of vinegar slaw was ok. Probably won’t return for anything other than a taco."

"Usually if I order from El Maguey in Boonville its from Take Out and I pick up from their drive thru window they have! Ordering from Take Out from El Maguey is a hit or miss type of situation and tonjght was a big Miss!! I ordered Steak Fajitas with an extra order of Flour Tortillas!! Most of the steak and veggie pieces were burnt and hard. I had to pick through it to get good pieces. It comes with Pico, Guacamole, Sour Cream, Refried Beans and Rice. (It also comes with Lettuce but I ordered mine W/O Lettuce due to an allergy! They also give u a bag of Chips and Salsa! The Guacamole was a teaspoon worth of brown goop, The sour cream was SO watery Thank goodness I had some in the fridge! The Rice was hard, dry and cold and the beans were also Very dry and cold! The chips come in a brown paper bag that was SO greasy the bag was soaked with grease but yet the chips were hard as could be and tasted Very stale and absolutely no flavor except grease!! It honestly seemed like I got fajitas that had been sitting for awhile and maybe the last of what they had! Idk? But they were the worst ones Ive gotten! I absolutely LOVE fajitas! And I order them once a month and it's a treat for me! Especially for $22.00 I was very angry about the food quality I received tonight! It was terrible! And trying to get any kind of refund is useless! When I called I spoke with a guy who argued with me saying they gave me what I ordered which yes I got what I ordered but I couldn't get it through his head that it was WHAT I received that was the issue! So basically that was $22 wasted! And now the next time they could be amazing! Which is why I say it's a hit or miss! I won't be ordering them from the dinner menu again! If anything I will try again from the lunch menu which is half the price!
