glad they are finally open. the pizza was as good as I remember and steak bomb was loaded!! keep in mind that it's a work in progress so they have to work the kinks out as restaurant has to...can't wait until they reach their full potential for seating ect...definitely will be our pizza stop again! What Madison Grisham doesn't like about Newbury Palace Pizza:
3.5% CHARGE TO USE YOUR CREDIT CARD! BE CAREFUL! Just visited today after I received their new menu. There's no mention of a 3.5% charge to use your credit card here. This is a scary trend at local businesses. Most people ignore this charge or don't even see it, but you shouldn't ever agree to pay this fee. Keep in mind, business owners like to say that they charge this fee because of rising costs/credit processing, but rest assured they price these things into the cost of your food. This is complete greed. I'll be telling others to boycott this establishment. By the way, pizza was pretty good ... but don't forget Dominos charges less and doesn't charge you a stupid 3.5% FEE.
We were staying at a nearby hotel and were recommended this restaurant by the receptionist who told us all feedback from other guests had always been positive. We ordered one pizza, one sub, six wings and a side salad. It was delivered 40 minutes after straight to our hotel room. Everything was fresh and delicious. Pizza was incredible, Buffalo wings with home made Blue cheese and Ranch sauce were surprisingly good too, the sub and salad with home made dressing too were both a treat as well. Five stars experience and definitely recommend if you're in the area for a ski week end !
Jim makes the best calzones! Consistently great as well as the service! Thanks Jim!
Too expensive for what you get. Didn't get what I ordered and ended up going hungry. Something in the pizza had gone bad, soured, and made me sick to my stomach. I ordered teriyaki wings, got hot wings with no teriyaki sauce on them. Won't be going back!
My only complaint is that I don't live a little bit closer. I wish I was only a mile or so away, then I could probably frequent their cute little bar. To me, a local person who has seen so many establishments go out of business in the local area, particularly around Mount sunapee, this place is worth rooting for patronizing! Of the several Pizza and Sub shops we have in the local area, this one is by far my favorite. I have enjoyed a number of different menu items and I find their menu to be the most extensive, and the cheapest. We are a household of for adults, and for the four of us to be able to eat or under $50 is pretty remarkable. I have chatted with a few employees when I have been there waiting for takeout and they are delightful and I truly wish them nothing but the highest success! Parking: Easy.
Hands down the best pizza we have had in a while. we will be back!!
