"My wife and I visited the Habesha with friends for dinner.I must be honest here, that I wouldn't have picked an Ethiopian restraint and really didn't know what to expect.Luckily our friends had been a few times and we let them pick all the nights meals.The staff were friendly and it was a surprise when the waitress came around with the wash basin and a warm pitcher of water. We all washed our hands and I realized then and there that there was not cutlery on the table.The food was very nice as we all tucked in with our hands and the bread which was more like a crape. The food was similar to Indian if you like spice. My wife and I love spice, so we were very happy.The food was very filling and quiet reasonably prices, the only negatives being the size of the restraint and the staff hurrying us up for the next sitting. This was very disappointing as we haven't see these friends for quiet a while."

"It's a nice intimate and cosy restaurant. Ordered for starters Chilli cucumber and edamame. The chilli cucumbers were refreshing with a good kick to it and the edamame were lightly seasoned with some sea salt. For mains we ordered the omu rice and the pork katsu Don. The curry omu rice was very comforting and perfect for a cold wet autumn night with the perfect portion of rice and curry. Will definitely come back. It's worth the trip."

"Waitress highlighted the Sunday deal which was a platter with bottle of wine for $50. Given the bottle was usually $40, this was exceptional value. Platter was fine for two, plenty without being filling.Service very friendly and attentive - not sure what venue other reviewers were at ! Lovely atmosphere - eclectic furniture with fresh flowers. A reasonable number of patrons sitting throughout the venue (which isn't really Petite despite the name) so everyone had a bit of privacy. Highly recommend for a quiet Sunday drink"

"Haven't been to Cirque for ages (silly us) but everything was just as i remembered. Coffee was strong, hot and tasty. Bacon, poached eggs, sourdough beautifully cooked; the side of a thick beef sausage with housemade bbq sauce was a great addition. Service is very pleasant and efficient. Reasonably priced. Thank you Cirque."
