"Very nice restaurant. I ordered from the early bird menu, 3 courses for £19.95. The set menu is quite short, but has an option for most tastes.I had the Salmon and Dill fishcake starter, which was very good. The fishcake may have been slightly over done, but the vinaigrette on the salad was incredibly tasty.My main was the Spicy Chicken Salad, which had much more chicken than I expected, I'm not so into anchovies, but they were okay in the salad.For dessert I had the White Chocolate Brulee, it was amazing and had that signature crack to get through the top of the Brulee.Our waitress was incredibly professional and attentive. I would happily come back to The Granary on my next visit to Newtown."

"We picked this pub for an evening meal whilst in Shropshire. It's nestled in the heart of Clun and is a delightful pub.Our group of 4 had a mix of food fish and chips, burgers, pie and there was certainly a lot of it! The chips were a bit soggy, and service was quite slow, but that's most likely because they were packed and rushed off their feet with EOHO diners!All in all it was a pleasant evening with good pub grub."

"This was the first thing we ate when we arrived on holiday and now it is all I want to eat for the rest of the week. perfectly crispy, incredible chips and served by a super friendly and helpful team. it was attacked by the host of our airbnb as the best fish and chips in the world and they were not exaggerated. superb!"
