"My order was Fish and chips both were not fresh. It tasted like ready to use frozen food from supermarket. Fish was fried in a very old oil and smelled bad and was almost not edible. My stomach hurt right after I ate just a little. My husband ordered steak that both smelled and tasted bad. The cook definitely needs to learn hoe to cook properly. The waitress was nice though I expect knowledge of English in a tourist area. Overall one of the worst places to eat. I recommend not to go there but instead buy some bread meat and cheese in the store right across the exit from the biking trail. You will have much better meal."

"Stayed and ate here on a bike trip with 6 other friends. Excellent dining and personal service in little Nominingue. Everyone in our group loved their meal and the experience. Chef/owner Heiko serves world class food, with fun personal touch! Heiko came out and gave his personal recommendations. Every course was excellent. Co-owner Nancy, and our waiter Stefan made us feel like family! Definitely a must do!"

"Clean and attractive, casual family café environment. Right on the main street. Varied menu. Items well presented. Attentive service. Would however certainly leave lumberjacks looking for another fast-food meal close by!! The price-ratio leaves you wondering if you'll ever come back. Was for a long time a back-up to a B&B at the other end of the village, but bad pricing cut this short."

"Fun and nostalgic place to stop and eat some good poitein or a steamer hot dog. I think the best was the grilled steamer with the works, which was a toasted bun and a steamed hot dog with 4 or 5 toppings. I also tried the Michigan hot dog which was a chili dog it is my friends favorite menu item."

"This Auberge is also a restaurant open to the public. We were here on a Sunday evening cycling the P'tit Du Nord Trail and were really impressed by the quality of the meal we were served. There were also local people here as... good. It was a nice meal served in a personalized way. The Amuse Bouche was a rabbit liver mousse I wish I had ordered more. The appetizers were home smoked duck breast with a salad and trout engraving. Our main courses were a wild boar and another piece of locally grated pigs and pigs. Both dishes were served with a wonderful sauce and a variety of fresh vegetables. The wildcatcher was very tender. The really impressive part of our meal was the variety of vegetables served with each dish and the portions were plentiful. An intermesso was also included. For dessert we had a brownie with a kind of vanilla mousse and the best cream we ever had. I sung in many restaurants, including France, and that was right up there. My only criticism is that there was only one way to order a glass of red wine, and that was a California zin that was very average."
