the dinner was unfortunately a great disappointment. we have to wait for a beaten hour. on our demand we were told that it could happen that the ordering list already flutters. no apologies, nothing. then a bottle of water was calculated in the billing. to eat itself, the appetizer red bete carpaccio was very good. at the main courses fish and calfsbäckchen was still air up. The Mahl Anderz is the restaurant of the Strandhotel Piquet, which is not only open to hotel guests. The location on the Norderneyer Weststrand is simply enchanting. The guest room is attractively equipped. The service is very friendly and courteous, but can be guided in terms of organization by the hotel's excellent breakfast service. We had expected a better quality from the very high-priced dishes. We've had our calf carvings much better. The Mahl Anderz were unfortunately somewhat too cross and dry.
Were there yesterday and unfortunately the service is totally overwhelmed with several guests! If you have to wait a long time for someone to pick up an order and then the waffles did not even come to the table!, many guests have gone annoyingly again, as no operation... Were otherwise very touched by the ambience and food, but service leaves to be desired
A new restaurant opened at Norderney! The Hotel Piquet has been taken over by new hosts. And at the same time the new restaurant. The premises are very nice also modernly adapted and make a very nice impression. In the morning this is also the breakfast area. The staff, especially in the morning, is really very nice and accommodating you try where you can. Of course, everything is new and everyone has to find their place in place. Thus, you also have to leave the restaurant business a little time. We were here in the evening and I would like to report on this. The restaurant was full and the map was very appealing. The food had a very good quality the meat was of goodness and everything else around it tasted very good! The dishes are decorated very nicely and are also served in a beautiful way. The price-performance ratio is quite right here. Why I pull off a star is simply still at the somewhat uncoordinated procedure in service. You can see that the hostess still has to find her place, so it's still a bit hard at some places! I assume that this will be regulated over time. However, it would be nice to cover the tables with a table runner in the evening and maybe also use fabric napkins. This would give the whole thing even more style and maybe round it off. Otherwise we will definitely come back here.
The BBQ grill evening unfortunately did not match our expectations. if various meat and fish dishes are offered as a buffet, I expect them to come up with freshly grilled dishes - there may also take a few minutes until the grillmaster meets my wish. the corn-poularde offered was very dry and looked like it had been fed in the warm-up container for a long time. the fillet shoot was sold out after a short time and could not be delivered - a pity. I would have liked to have waited a little for a freshly grilled pink roast beef disc - unfortunately it was by (due to keeping warm) and therefore not particularly delicious. there were two kinds of salmon - a variant would have been completely sufficient . . the grilled vegetables were soft and boiled. we were saturated when we went, but the quality of the offered food has not satisfied us.
