After a long journey on the thrice weekly bus from Cairns, it was a short stroll from the Tourist park to enjoy a beer at the purple pub.Tastes of beer are a personal preference, however I find the Great Northern brew to be a bit sweet. View all feedback.

We had a well cooked steak and a pizza that was ok. We expected pub food and that's what we got. You could sit inside in the aircon or out the back in the beer...

"We tried out the Gobble N Go in Normanton last week during our short stay in town. We had been checking out the sights of the town and meeting up with some other caravaners we had met in NSW a few months ago doing a similar itinerary they mentioned that the fish burgers at Gobble N Go were really good. We all went together for lunch and they were right, the barra burgers were excellent, good fresh fish, good chips and good pricing. Pretty decent for a small town fast food type joint. We would definitely eat there again."

"I ate twice as this pub while staying in Normanton on both occasions the food was typical country pub style - good quality and lots of it. The deck out the back of the bar is a great place to eat in the evening with a cool breeze.Not much else to say except I think most peoplecwould be satisfied with the food a frirndly outback service"
