"Really impressed by this newly opened restaurant in our village. the place was tastefully decorated and there is a really welcoming feeling as soon as they go in. eating was fantastic and the great value for money would recommend falafel as starter! personal all very friendly and welcoming and were really helpful in the description of the menu and which dishes work well together. will certainly come back."

"A stunning gastro pub situated on the outskirts of Bicester providing excellent food and professional service. Due to having a large garden at the rear, there are many tables for customers to enjoy food and drink in the summer time; while both indoor fireplaces appear to provide a more rustic, warmer feel in the winter time. More on our visit, we were kindly seated by the bar staff in the conservatory, despite us not having a booking and the pub clearly being busy. I ordered the Duck breast while both my parents had the Fish and Chips; the Duck was perfectly cooked and the very large portion of fish did not disappoint. We highly recommend the Trigger Pond to anyone passing through the local area. A gem of a country pub"

"Everything was amazing and my only comment is that the tomahawk pork steak portion was very small compared to what “tomahawk” usually is. "Beautiful, family-run place where we received a warm welcome from the staff, especially jonathon, who showed us in our room. we recently enjoyed our second visit here, but that was the first time we stayed in the pub. our room 'the peacocks' was beautiful with the perfect mix of character and luxury. the evening meal was also delicious and the breakfast. we're coming back!"
