Had a lovely meal and drinks sat outside in the sunshine We were served really quickly in the garden , all the staff are so friendly. Loved loved the menus on the back of LPs , such fun . What impressed us both was the vegan vegetarian menu . We counted about 8 meals, which is so unusual. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. We had such a lovely evening and would highly recommend View all feedback.
What Downski doesn't like about Dining At Ormidale:
we visited and were warned you wont finish the meal, they were not wrong! We did have to wait over an hour for our food as it was so busy, but its in a lovely setting and when the food finally arrived there was mountains of it. One small constructive criticism, there genuinely was too much food and we wasted a good amount. 2/3rds of the size would still have been generous. Lovely staff too View all feedback.
Welcoming fire in bar .. staff very attentive and friendly our dogs came too ..the meals we ordered mostly currys and one veg curry were excellent the music quiz was a good laugh would recommend for a friendly pub atmosphere and thanks to Irene (hope i remembered her correct name) and her family for an entertaining time
Visited the Ormidale for both food and drinks whilst here on Arran. It’s a lovely big cosy place with friendly staff welcoming locals visitors alike. The food is good pub grub. There’s not many places offer simple tasty evening meals like this in Brodick a few pricey a la carte restaurants, but options for reasonably priced fish chips or burgers are limited, so the Ormidale is definitely the place to come for this! Lots of things going on (Quiz, Disco, Live Music) so well worth it visit.
The steak pie has good tender chunks of meat, and barely fits on the plate. Macaroni with Chorizo is another favourite. Open fire, good whiskies and live music session on Sunday evenings.
We visited Sunday afternoon on recommendation of a friendly Brodick local. Friendly greeting and helpful staff. Nice pint of local Arran Blonde in the sunny orangery. And able to take the dog in too. Food was really nice and portions were big , which are always appreciated. Most of the mains were around the £15 mark so felt like decent value. Glad we stumbled across this place, really enjoyed our meal and visit thank you!
