Just had the most delicious tomato and chorizo soup for lunch. Rich and hearty. Excellent, friendly service.

Lovely homemade baking and picnic foods, Rhubarb crumble was delicious as was the Quiche and Honeycomb cake bar.

This bakery is a little gem and is definitely worth visiting while staying on Arran! They have a wide range of delicious produce which you can tell is homemade....

absolutely! we would have gone more often! the whole family had cakes, cakes brauted and there was not a single bit over! amazing eating we even have to take so...

"This is a pub with a very relaxed atmosphere. It was full when we arrived, so we ordered a drink at the bar, but had to wait for only 5 minutes before we were shown to a free table. As they had a very busy weekend (bank holiday), they had run out of the portobello, red onion and avocado burger, so we ordered a haggis burger (which is also vegan) and Moroccan tagine instead, and soup of the day as a starter. The food was very tasty and filling, but it's a pity they can't do a vegan coleslaw, which isn't more complicated than the non-vegan version (vegan mayo is available in every supermarket nowadays). The staff was very helpful and friendly, we very much enjoyed our stay here. We'll definitely go back the next time we visit Arran. Updated from previous review on 2018-09-10"

"Fantastic tea shop. Always come here on our annual trip to Arran. Everything is tasty, hot drinks are piping hot and all is great value. Can highly recommend the cheese scones, best my wife has ever had and she has had plenty(!! . Tunisian polenta cake is delicious and flap jacks are outstanding. Can't wait to come back next year."

"Visited last weekend and stayed here for a late breakfast. The vegan breakfast was delicious, tons of mushrooms with potatoes, spinach cherry tomatoes, beans and served with toast. I asked to swallow the beans for another potato sauce that was not a problem. The only problem was that the toast came with real butter Pats, but I only asked if she marg or something else and she got a dish from the kitchen for me. They also have oats/soya/cooked milk for drinks. We enjoyed it so much that we went to lunch the next day. This was a different menu as the breakfast menu was finished, but still had a few options."

"Very comfortable restaurant, good location (located on a main street). our service (we came to dinner) was nice, the two women who run the dining room were very friendly and efficient. eating was amazing, simple concept, but good-done, almost as if her mother made it! I ordered the slowly baked bark meat and others on my table had lamb, salmon and cod. all were delicious. highly recommended for anyone who needs a delicious, warm food."
