This place is incredible. We?ve been several times and the food and hospitality is great every time. We?ve brought friends and family and never get a negative comment. What Lorre T doesn't like about Macho Pichu Chicken:
I thought I was getting authentic Peruvian food like I?m accustomed to in Thw metro Washington DC area. The chicken was not marinated and it was roasted but the skin was not crispy. The chicken and the red beans had a smoky flavor that was more a traditional Southern style of cooking. The salad and plantains were good. They don?t serve yucca. Incredible food! Charleston is missing out on Peruvian chicken in general and this place fills the hole in your heart. Incredible sauces and friendly staff.
First time here and it was delicious! I love Peruvian charcoal chicken and this is honestly the best in Charleston. Thank you Paco and Capri!!!! Y’all
