"There were just a handful of diners for our lunch time meal at the Clockspire which has a large open dining room. The cavernous space was cold and lacked atmosphere, exacerbated by so few fellow travellers. Staff were attentive without being intrusive. The kitchen offers fine dining and yet most of our dishes were over seasoned with salt very prominent. Portions were tiny and relatively expensive, as were wines. Overall the restaurant fails to offer value for money, and we are unlikely to return in the near future. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £70–80 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2 Recommended dishes: Duck Breast"

"We had evening meal here on a Monday night . We booked a table but there was plenty of room anyway. I found plenty of vegetarian options a but settled on the Sunday roast vegetarian version. The prices were about average for the area around £17 for a main course. The service was good and the staff were polite and cheerful. The pub has a thatched roof and the car park is large. I have no hesitation in recommending this pub for a good meal."

"This is a fantastic little Italian restaurant with the staff, service and eat everything exceptional!. the employees are welcoming and the service is not in this restaurant in contrast to some restaurants where they give them a time limit on the table and they feel torn for the night!. eating is homemade and never disappointed by quality to portion size extremely good value for money can not recommend this restaurant!."

"Unfortunately the staff have been rude every time I've visited. Whether it is on the phone or in person they are rude and aggressive. Unfortunately they don't have masses of competition which is why people have to put up with it. Over the lockdown period the way they speak to potential customers has been appalling."
