"Five stars for the pflüger alone! If you don't have a big appetit, you might need a friend to finish it! friendly staff, although it is super busy about the bank holiday, and a beautiful, characterful old building where you sit."

"Came in here a few weeks ago very late (just before closing time bar staff could’ve easily been annoyed and almost refused us service however they were more than happy to serve us and were very welcoming! Had a nice atmosphere and will definitely be visiting again (just a little earlier next time!"

"The girl serving on Tuesday was the sort of person I would employ, she never stopped, using her initiative to keep herself busy. The fish was excellent, but the chips could of been crisper , but maybe it's the time of year for potatoes. They don't crisp so well. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"The roast that is the most expensive in the area and what do you get for the extortionate price and what’s it like: 13.95 for chicken and 18:95 for beef 1) The smallest stuffing ball. About the size of a ‘Rollo’ sweet. 2) 1 carrot 3) A tea spoon of Swede 4) 4 of the smallest potatoes (the size of a sprout) 5) Red cabbage that tasted like it had been washed in vinegar 6) cauliflower cheese that was cold and bland 7) Gravy that was so watery it was the worst I have ever tasted 8)Yorkshire pudding that was actually ok All that with the worst service ever by a waiter that smelt strongly of smoke with brown nicotine stains on his fingers, yuk. One to avoid!"
