"Public holiday, not much open it town so this place was busy. Staff managed to keep on top of everything, quickly clear tables, take orders and serve great food quickly. Try this place if you like flavoursome food. We had traditional cafe food (such as eggs on toast BLAT) as well as delicious asian inspired salad and felafel plate and it was all fantastic. We'll be back."

"We had morning tea at Cafe Cappello today, for only the second time. Well, what a fabulous place! Staff are just amazing, polite and couldn't do enough for us oldies! The coffee and food are amazing and the position is fabulous! Highly recommend! Next time...we go to Lismore we are going to have our lunch there."

"Benchtop Espresso is located in Keen Street a short walk away from the Lismore Regional Gallery. On the Saturday morning of our visit the cafe was near capacity, most indoor and outdoors were taken, we squeezed in on the end of a long bench, socially...distanced, for our coffee. I appreciated the extra small touch of a glass of sparkling water with my espresso, just the way I like it, I only wish other cafes would catch on. While we did not eat any food I noticed the delicious healthy breakfast bowls others had ordered and the availability of a range of gluten free and vegan food on offer."
