"First visit for breakfast and I can't fault the place. The staff were welcoming, polite and efficient. I ordered the Half Nelson breakfast that was beautifully cooked and well presented. The cafe had a very pleasant atmosphere and is obviously used a lot by locals always a good sign. Will certainly visit again."

"Amazing to be able to order battered vegan sausage and chips which were very tasty indeed. Service was quick and plenty of seating available. Will definitely be going back, as it was such a treat to have a vegan option in a chippy!"

"Some of our party had a beef roast dinner on a Sunday evening. It was rather disappointing as the roast potatoes were very hard and the some of the meat was tough. I think it all had been kept warm since lunchtime. However the mussel and smoked haddock chowder was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful."
