last night I was despised as google decided to update and only gave me this wonderful place just one star. the pub deserves every little five stars. it is warm, friendly and will run properly as a real village pub. there is always a greeting, and they serve excellent food, except for the earth and appreciated sensible. We’d booked for a family meal but were abruptly told when we sat down that a mistake had been made and the kitchen was in fact intended to be closed. The member of staff serving us emphasised she had been made to come in especially to accommodate us for two hours (making us feel guilty/as if it was our fault).
