What ekcihey likes about The Quicken Tree:
Made a reservation for 12:30 on a Sunday and beat the rush. Didn't have a large vegetarian menu but I found a delightful pasta dish (mushroom papadelle). My wife is more fussy than me but she really enjoyed hers too: the lamb shank. Lovely views from the seating outside. Would recommend. View all feedback.

What premier2019 doesn't like about The Quicken Tree:
This Fantastic place has changed its menu since our last visit. It was always a pleasure to see the Chef's make everything from scratch. For example the creamy garlic mushrooms on sour bread. This is no longer the case. It now looks like most of the new dishes come pre packed and heated up.What a massive mistake they've made. "Great pub, staff are the fastest at serving of any pub I've ever been to. Great atmosphere, superb live music venue but oh my is it expensive. Costs more for a pint than a central London pub which explains why its usually empty until 9pm. Has a late license most nights till 2am. Good job there's a cashpoint near by."

"We waited over 40 minutes for Sunday roast. 2 beef and I chicken meal. 2 small slices of beef on the standard meal, frozen roast potatoes, frozen veg, frozen Yorkshire pudding and what can only be described as packet mash that was horrendously dry. The worse part was the frozen chicken portion that resembled an anemic looking lump of jelly. The middle of the chicken was still frozen. The response from the staff was 'oh sorry, here 's your money back for the chicken dinner. As I refused for them to reheat this in the microwave and and bring it back. This place has gone downhill and we won 't be returning."
