"Ate here on impulse after viewing a few restaurants in Newbury. Happy we did, excellent service and helpful to us who knew little about Japanese food. Would strongly recommend it."

"We'd heard good things about this restaurant but I was disappointed and unfortunately on a visit to Cardiff the next day we found ourselves booked in to another Italian restaurant there. I couldn't help comparing and what a difference. The squid was like rubber and the veal, though reasonably tasty, the sauce could hardly be described as pepper sauce. I also objected to having to pay an extra £4 to add a vegetable and a bit of colour, in this case peas, to the plate Surely vegetables should come with a meal. Of the other three one agreed with me. One had to add lots of pepper to the so called sauce diablo and the fourth was satisfied As for payment Cardiff was better value all round."

"Amazingly find little, sells ploughs and rolls, but the reels are amazing and not to any taste I had salmon and brides, We also had steak and Stilton And corn beef and cheese all were fab, big for a light lunch"

"What a cool place right in the middle of the shopping area. I must admit I’ve been trying to eat more healthily so unfortunately didn’t go for the Brazilian chicken and I think there was a curry which looked absolutely lush. I went for...the bbq beef brisket with salad. Oh wow it was tasty, loads of brisket no scrimping, fresh salad. Very reasonably priced for what it was for small. Decent amount of outdoor seating which was absolutely fine even in mid Jan. Excellent service, good house music and vibe."
