The Blue Bell Inn is a perfect stopover when travelling South North. Evening meal delicious. Starters of haggis with a tasty sauce, then fish and chips and ale pie. We were looking forward to our meal here as previous reviews were good. Arrived on a snowy night and received modest reception. Pub seems to have been refitted recently and although nice it lacks cosyness and is too bright. Food was nicely presented but not particularly memorable after eating. Pudding portions were miserable for the high price. So ok but better places to eat in Wooler area. View all feedback.
