A really lovely place to eat and drink, food prepared beautifully and the staff are really lovely people, 5 stars

"Cafe man is a local cafe at the end of a series of rows of row houses in a very industrial area. from outside it is the last place they would expect to find a series of vegan options. a good rich view also photo for menu jan 2022. the personal really knew everything about the requirements in which measured how they told me that I could not have a roll because they had milk, but the cut brot was milk free. I had a Vacon sandwich, with chips and a big house made klappjack, which was nice. the other half had a linda mc fish cake. they even had vegan mayo and salat cream! there is a separate friier for the vegan causes and they take gluten-free seriously also they even have a separate toaster. impressive effort and know. many larger, more expensive places could learn a lot from the staff in the cafe one. so friendly. parking is located on a residential street right in front of the house. There are not many vegan options here, so this was a very welcome fund. updated by previous rating on 2022 01 28"

"Booked a table, just as well it was heaving. We weren't aware that there was an over 60's menu. 3 course for £10.95. Terrific value and food was good. Pity about the noise, there was a group of about 60 sitting just behind us,they had a great time but a bit overpowering for us, however, we still enjoyed our visit and would call again. Forgot to mention the waitress who served us certainly knows her job, considering the amount of people, she did well."

"The food at La Famiglia is absolutely excellent. They often have fish and seafood specials which are tremendous. Their Sunday roasts are also fabulous and only around £10 each. I have to recommend the Chicken Skewers and Seafood Sharing Platter, as well as the Caprese Salad (my fiancee is a strict vegetarian). NEVER had a reason to complain about anything I 've had here in over 4 years of attending this super-friendly restaurant. And they do have WiFi for device-obsessed patrons, but the password is Talk2eachother as they 're trying (and succeeding) in promoting a great, chatty, quiet music, friendly and welcoming eating place. Well done to Rob and the rest of the staff. One of my top 5 eateries in Newcastle."
