Very clean rooms, comfortable beds and desent pillows! tidy decor, nice touches (complimentary shampoo, hand-wash, tea n biscuits, nicely folded towels, iron, visitor book on Northumberland etc) lovey restaurant with good friendly service and food, love the fact it's dog friendly too, was nice to see well behaved doggies in the restaurant, breakfast was good too. This was probably the worst meal out I have had for a long time. Kids had burger and chips and chicken, the chips were extremely over cooked and salty. Found a peice of bone in my daughters burger. I had the hogs head burger and it was basically the same as the children's burger and chips in every way but double the cost.
