the jackdaw is great! eating is of great quality, generous portions and at a good price. the sweetheart she gets with the net is super generous and delicious. there is always a great selection of dresses available and the wine and beer selection is brilliant. the owners could not be more beautiful and make every visit special. Other reviews have been very complimentary but we were rather dissappointed. The food was clearly home-cooked which is usually a good sign but it was really underwhelming. My liver pate starter was served so cold as to destroy the flavour and my partner's tartine,though tasty , was soggy (micro-waved?)which let the dish down.
