"Very conveniently situated across from the Bonnington Theatre on Arnold High Street with it's large car park and disabled spaces, this modern, clean and comfortable Nepalese restaurant is disabled friendly with separate access, loo, wheelchair space and WiFi too. Our first visit, courtesy of a voucher, was a pleasant one. A warm and friendly welcome, personal service by the owner, freshly prepared and cooked good quality ingredients mixed with subtle spices made for a memorable meal. There were a good number of Gluten free and Dairy free options to cater for all tastes. Portions were satisfying and the plates were hot and clean in this 5 star hygiene rated restaurant."

"I ordered the soup of the day, Caesar chicken salad and a can of coke. It all came to £11 and could pay with American express. Though I'm not a fan of croutons, the toast was lovely alongside the leak and potato soup. Whilst I enjoyed the Caesar chicken salad, once the meat had gone, I left the rest. Very reasonable price and will certainly come again when I can. Got to look after these small businesses."

"Absolutely our new 'go to ' for fabulous indian cuisine ... had a fantastic meal last night, the food was just amazing. We have been dining at the other high end Indian restaurant in Nottingham for many years now, but The Maharajs 's Retreat is just steps ahead. "Granddaughter's local ....... it seems to be the hub of the village very well attended. Read notice board and there seems to be lots to do. Sunday lunch was a good size, very well cooked and tasty plenty of gravy (asked for extra dessert was heavenly sticky toffee pudding and grandaughter had warm chocolate fudge cake, talk about being stuffed. Lovely food friendly staff, will return."
