We had the Christmas Day dinner. It was a set menu, albeit with choices for each course. Portions were large and is he quality good. The upstairs dining room was very seasonally decorated with a large roaring fire. Overall it was very enjoyable and good value for money. View all feedback.
What Louie Rummenigge doesn't like about Baron's Cove:
The food was extremely disappointing, not what we expect from Barons. Cold french fries, soggy calamari, medium hamburger was very rare, gazpacho which we were told wasn't spicy was extremely spicy, etc.. View all feedback.
I have been to Barons Cove several times over the last few years, I was really disappointed with our most recent dinner. We waited 40 minutes for 2 hamburgers and one child 's slider dinner. My order was incorrect and all 3 of the plates of french fries were very undercooked. I sent them back only to receive 3 new plates with again very undercooked hard french fries. When I asked if the french fries were cooked right I said no and was told sorry about that When I realized we weren 't getting a 3rd round I just paid the bill and left.
First time and we will be back! Staff was super nice. Food was great and so was the view.

We had dinner at Barons Cove on Christmas Night , the place was done up very Rustic old style lights on the tree and inside as well . Ambiance was perfect .. The waiter was very attentive to us , the food for its price although it was Christmas) was to much . The manager who I dealt with when reserving my table as well as at the restaurant was very cordial . They just forgot to give us our leftovers when they wrapped them up , we did not realize it till we got home and we had traveled 1.5 hrs to get there . Otherwise the experience was excellent !
We went with a guest for brunch on December 22nd. The inn was beautifully decorated for the holidays and it was a sparkling winter day so the view of the bay was spectacular. I had the french toast with sausages which was excellent and my husband had the Classic brunch with eggs, french toast, etc. My friend had eggs too. All was great but we felt there could have been a little more on the plate. We're not big eaters but even for us it just seemed a little less than generous. We hope to come back for happy hour soon.
