"It's hard to get past media owners. How successful! The room remains airy, well spaced tables guarantee privacy. The card is inventive, the very reasonable price. "Maufoux is a tiny gem. The menu is as delicious as it is simple just a choice of four starters and four main courses which allows the one-chef kitchen to maintain the high standards. Everywhere in Burgundy serves Gougeres (cheesy choux pastry balls of deliciousness). Service at Maufoux always starts with them and they are the best I’ve tried. The wine list is as extensive as you would expect but the prices are surprisingly reasonable. There are two small rooms, simply and tastefully decorated and the owner or her colleague could not be more welcoming. If quality and simplicity it what you like then this is the place. (they also have a place in Chablis and a posh version in Meursault)."
