Great variety, friendly and helpful staff with delicious breads and sweet treats.

what a joy! big open door and wide smile. I bought the haferflossekse, a chocolate pretzel and all the wheat bread. from the door under $20! one of the cookies...

they always have a good experience at star. it seems that the products we wanted and add even more to the purchase. the personal is great!

always great product and now that they own diamond bakery and keep the best of the two worlds, it is a victor!

I forgot my bagels at the first visit. They made sure I got them when I came back. good bagels good business. oh and I tried a oatmeal cookie today. it was 2.99...

"Came into this place early evening on a Saturday and things were fairly quiet. I ordered a chicken platter with fries, and my girlfriend ordered a falafel wrap. She also ended up asking about their sauces, all of which are homemade, and available for order! They had some pretty interesting sauce flavors, from the standard sweet spicy (MUST try , to some more fruity flavors like spicy mango, spicy raspberry, to some VERY interesting flavors like an avocado sauce. The owners were AMAZING they let us sample each sauce while telling us about exactly what went into each sauce (the avocado doesn’t have any sugar! . They gave us a complimentary little plastic container of the avocado sauce by far our favorite. The avocado sauce wasn’t watered down AT ALL, very thick and full of avocado flavor. Don’t expect anything like guacamole, it’s still definitely a sauce. Back to the main food falafel was freshly prepared and fried (we had to wait a bit, which of course is expected , and the chicken shawarma was amazing. Generous portions of garlic sauce and hummus. The side salad was nicely dressed as well, wasn’t an afterthought or anything. The avocado sauce definitely gives me California vibes and I enjoyed it with the fries (although some may give me side eye for saying that . The owners are a very friendly couple, and the restaurant gave off friendly, neighborhood vibes. They recognize regulars by the voice when they order, joke around with their customers, and even talked about and offered us samples for their rice, which they suggested for me the next time I come by, which can’t be soon enough."

"Customer service makes or breaks a company, and they did an amazing job. So basically part of my order was missing. I called them and they were able to replace it. They were so quick and nice, gave me some extra warm fresh bread and baklava! So unnecessary!!!! They already have the best food and the fact they only had 2 guys working, and were killing it, makes me a customer for life! Thank you team for turning a bad experience into a great one"

"I've tried several things and all of it has been amazing. What I love the most is that the fish has been fresh every single time. They have a lot of things on their menu to choose from. If you're vegan or vegetarian they have options for you as well. It's priced well for the both the quality and quantity you get. It's my fave sushi restaurant."
