The place and the music are beautiful, but eating is really bad. the portions are small and the place is expensive for what they receive. the brot was not of the day, and the pizza that is the specificity of the house was burned. the service is extremely slow. I never come to this place again.
Good location near santa domingo. the ambiente was in order, the service was satisfactory and our wood fired pizza was pretty good. when the bill was presented, however, it contained a price for an article. I pointed this out to the waiter and told him the right thing about this article. when he returned with the change, the beat was not corrected. when we left the restaurant, we checked the menu at the door and confirmed that we were overloaded. I am used to random overload, but this is the first time that I had a restaurant not the bill on the published menu price when the error was drawn to the attention of the waiter. there are so many good restaurants in oaxaca that there is no need to protect one where the administration arrogant thinks it can get away with overcharge.
We had dinner in this restaurant (used to be Mezzaluna) last Sunday night and I would call it horrible. 2 of the 4 pasta dishes we received were inedibly gluey. The other 2 were tasteless. We have been in Oaxaca for a month and eaten in a lot of restaurants. This was by far the worst. And the prices are excessively high. Perhaps if we might have been wiser to order the wood fired pizza, but the ones we saw on other tables didn't look all that good either. The server seemed very overworked. He tried hard and took the dish we sent back without question and didn't charge us for it. He didn't seem at all surprised.
Good location near Santa Domingo. The ambience was fine, the service was satisfactory and our wood fired pizza was quite good. However, when the bill was presented it contained an overcharge for one item. I pointed this out to the waiter, specifically telling him the correct charge for that item. When he returned with the change the overcharge had not been corrected. As we left the restaurant we checked the menu at the door and confirmed that we had been overcharged. I'm accustomed to accidental overcharging but this is the first time that I have had a restaurant not correct the bill to the published menu price when the error was drawn to the waiter's attention. There are so many good restaurants in Oaxaca that there's no need to patronise one where the management arrogantly thinks it can get away with overcharging.
