"What a great place. Line moving fast. Friendly customers, Very efficient service. So fun to bake the crew. Unbelievable breads and candy. Bagels are delicious, but if you are looking for an authentic bagel, that is not what you find here imho. Again, very tasty, but more shaped like a fine crafty bread to look like a bagel."

"I have ordered several cakes for special occasions in the past year. Each time, guests rave about how wonderful the cakes look and taste. The cakes and the icing are by far the best tasting bakery cakes I've ever eaten and are less expensive than some other high profile bakeries.If you're a calorie counter, rest assured a piece of this cake will be worth every one."

"Been here several times in the past and the food never disappoints. The peach salad appetizer was amazing with warmed peppers on top. The Blackberry brown butter tart with dulce de leche ice cream was also superb! Service was a tad slow and the prices have increased, though that's not uncommon across the industry. Still love the open kitchen vibe, bread, wine list and house cocktails. If you are looking for a decadent night out in Portland, ME, this should be your destination"

"There is a reason why this restaurant has stars from Forbes and diamonds from AAA--the food is delicious and creative, the service is impeccable and the ambience is second to none. From beginning to end, the evening could not have been better. First of all, the service from Nils was professional, yet friendly; he would be as conversational as you wanted him to be. The maître d' from Jakarta, Indonesia was likewise extremely personable as well as professional, and we engaged in a wonderful discussion. The assistant server from Jamaica was also friendly and attentive. As for the food, there were the nice touches normally associated with a restaurant of this caliber, such as multiple types of butter, a candy "tree" after dessert and a gift to take home, but the courses themselves were amazing. The amuse bouche was a chilled soup made with pineapple, coconut, cantaloupe, honeydew melon and lime with trout roe on top--just wow; it was phenomenal. For my first course, I ordered the beef tartare atop roasted bone marrow with crispy shallots and mustard aioli served with small slices of toasted brioche--just delicious. For my second course, I had the lobster bisque with expresso crème fraiche and olive oil; there were sizable chunks of lobster in the bisque. It was excellent. For my third course, I ate the beef tenderloin with a foie gras crust that was served with a potato puree, maitake mushrooms, baby carrots and summer truffles. The dish was fantastic. For my fourth course, I had the chocolate soufflé with the vanilla crème anglaise. It was great. If you are in search of the pinnacle of fine dining, this is it"

"We were in Arundel and decided to try some place different. Drove down to the beach and decided to give Good Thyme a try. I have to say it is now my favorite breakfast place to go. The staff and the food was amazing and I can’t wait to go back. A Pastrami hash omelet was the best ever"
