We went to this restaurant for Mother's Day and even though it was busy, we didn't have to wait long to be served. The food was absolutely amazing and I would recommend this place to anyone. The staff were very attentive without being overbearing. I give it a 10/10. View all feedback.

The food was terrible and the staff were rude. There was a piece of bone or gristle in my cottage pie. The chef was defensive and claimed it was just mince. The manager was even worse, refusing to remove the item from the bill and then swearing at me in front of my children. It was a truly awful experience. View all feedback.
Only 4 of us dining in the pub and every meal was totally unappetising. Batter on fish soggy, peas not been heated up, and chips cheapest and not cooked properly. 4 prawns on salad small one at that. unbuttered baquette which was so hard it was impossible to bite through .The meals should never been allowed to come out of any kitchen . One to avoid
Went in for a spot of lunch, had cheese and onion pie, chips and beans. Food was 10/10, very tasty, good portions, and very reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and polite, the pub was very clean and tidy, the service was excellent and food arrived in a timely manner. Couldn't fault it, thank you, North star, will certainly return..
Last minute decision, glad we picked the North food was red hot and so tasty. Service was excellent. Will be back soon.
