"If you go early in the evening, this is an awesome place to eat. On weekend nights though, it turns into a crowded college bar, and pretty much excludes any kind of decent dining experience. During the week, and early evening on weekends, you won't find better food in the town of Olds. It should have been a restaurant instead of a bar, because they've mastered the art of short order cooking here."

"We have been here on four separate occasions, wanting to give the establishment another chance. Each time we have left disappointed, service was unpleasant and slow even when it is not busy. Menu is small and lacks variety."

"5 stars on fresh, delicious food served in a small dining area of the restaurant. Service was happy and inviting. All 6 specialty maki rolls, 2 x orders of salmon sashimi, and the korean fried chicken chunks with yum yum sauce, that our table ordered was fantastic."

"Finally took the plunge and stopped in for an early dinner. The dining car is great. The interior takes me back to good memories of a simpler time. It's a nice simple menu which I really enjoy. I ordered a clubhouse with turkey soup. The sandwich was very good. The soup was served lukewarm at best. Husband was happy with his meal, even though the fries were not hot. Service was attentive. This place serves pure diner fare. I'm willing to give it another try with burgers and a shake in hopes it will bring back some of the tastes I remember from my youth."

"Went with our daughters for their pasta night. Was $5 off and super good. You can build your own starting at $10 but its pretty basic. The gourmet ones are $15 and worth every bite. One of the better pasta dishes I had. Was pleasantly surprised. Everybody had something different and everybody was happy. Food came out fast even though getting busy and friendly staff. Went with a vegetarian and she was able to find stuff easily"

"I usually have really good food when I stop by when I'm traveling. My cheeseburger definitely wasn't grilled. It was like precooked sitting on a warming tray. Tasted like McDonald's.The bun was too small. Hoping this was just a bad day. Fries were cold"

"I grew up eating at this location all of my life when it was Lotus Gardens. After I got married and moved away I I happened to be passing through Olds one day with a date, so I suggested we stop for dinner at Lotus Gardens, only to discover that they had closed down years ago. Very hesitantly we decided to give these new owners a try. I'm so happy we did! I consider myself a Chinese food snob and I must say that the meals we were served was probably the best Chinese food I've"
