"Had lunch with my wife. We usually share a menu as we both don't eat so much for lunch. Was not a problem at all and did not cost extra. Also, tab water was free. Friendly and attentive staff - very good food."

"Die Leute sind sehr freundlich. Der Döner ist halt, wie an den meisten Orten, ein angeliefertes Fertigprodukt, das vor Ort grilliert wird. Ich persönlich habe lieber Döner mit Frischfleisch aus Eigenproduktion, was man in Zofingen aber nirgendwo findet."

"Once a year my former boss organizes a get together with his former direct reports. I was able to make it this year so I traveled from France to Olten. We met at some bar before we headed to Restaurant Salmen for an amazing dinner....Despite being Swiss, I gotten used to French prices so I found it very expensive but at the same time, I believe that it is for a Swiss restaurant of such quality a price that is ok. Given the quality of the food, it was more than worth it. I went for the set menu which included the starter, 2 main courses and a dessert for CHF 87.00. The salad with bacon and croutons was fantastic, the fish was moist but at the same time, cooked to perfection. The Swiss prime fillet was outstanding and cooked the way I wanted it. In Switzerland you do not need to be ashamed when you want it well-done (in France they look at you as if you were going to kill the cow again... . So a fantastic dinner, with great friends, in a great restaurant with very friendly and efficient service."

"The Us Rindfilet (beef) is so tender you don’t have to sew it. With Kräuterbutter or Championsauce is a perfect combination. The Cognacsauce with the Rehrücken (deer) is silky, smooth and very delicate just like the deer itself. The portion are very filling as well!...You’ll be very satisfied"
