"This casual fish house has beautiful water views and even a gift shop with some nice gifts including jewelry. The food was creative with a mix of modern flavors and traditional fare and reasonably priced. The crab hush puppies are, wow! So good. We had the shrimp tacos and the salad with chicken, blueberries, strawberries, walnuts, feta, and more delicious ingredients with a light dressing. Both dishes were fresh and flavorful. The chocolate bread pudding was pretty awesome. Our server, Lauren, suggested our meal choices and she was spot on. She was one of the best servers, friendly, attentive, and happy. I hope she is there next time I stop in! The restaurant is just a few minutes off of Rt 13. So convenient. Enjoy this little spot on the water!"

"The first time here... BEFORE was greeted I reached the counter... 2 dear women took my order and it was done and ready before I could reach the end of the counter. The chicken was Piping HOT and very crispy on the outside... the Cole Slaw was excellent as the potato and land graves. But boy I was surprised by the biscuit!... light and fluffy, with a salted deck that was... This is a nice place to go when a good chicken meal.."

"Thanks to happy cow we found this beautiful restaurant in a vault that deserts a veg/vegan food. I had made the hummus sandwich with fries (both made to order and excellent). another in our party had the dr. prager veggieburger. they also have many salad options that can be veganized. the owners are willing to work with appropriate dietary requirements."

"We were getting hungry on our drive thru the Eastern Shore. I'd noted Metompkin seafood on previous treks thru the area. It doesn't look like much from the outside, with hand painted signs and a handwritten menu posted on a bulletin board outside the door, but with few other options for food nearby, we stopped in. There were three sizes of fresh shrimp on ice in one refrigerated display case and some homemade crabcakes in another. There was not a lot on display, to be sure. But there were plenty of other options on the menu. We opted for a half pound of steamed shrimp as a gluten-free option and a clam strip basket. Both were made to order and were ready in less than 10 minutes. Meanwhile, we had a very nice conversation with the lady at the counter which made the time pass more quickly. Both of the seafood choices were excellent as were the fries and homemade cole slaw. We were very pleased with our choices and glad we stopped in."

"So I'm coming from Va Beach back to Jersey and I see a billboard with kendall's kountry kitchen. So I stopped in good thing I did the food was really tasty. The sweet tea was awseome and the customer service was very pleasant and attentive. Felt like you was eating dinner at home. If I'm ever on Lankford Pwky again I know where I'm stopping."
