This is obviously where the locals go. Not as flash looking as the chippies up the road but certainly the tastiest. We were camping at the beach and we tried all the chip shops, this was by far the best and on our last night we had Chinese and it was so good. Price was so much more reasonable as well than the tourist traps up the road. View all feedback.

What Née Née doesn't like about Opunake Chinese Takeaways:
Will never eat there again after wasting $96 on the Chinese deal and getting undercooked sweet n sour pork that smelled and tasted like fish. Below average chowmein with raw veges and all the dishes were sooo greasy the 5 people that ate it now have stomach aches. The worst Chinese I've ever had in the north Island and as its a favorite we have eaten more than enough to know. Would give no stars if that was an option... View all feedback.
