This is a cosy ,quirky, little cafe in Opunake. We arrived with the lunchtime crowd so it got very busy and the wait time for food was longer than we expected....

"The manager Greg was lovely enough to wait for us to arrive for spur of the moment break away. We enjoyed a scrumptious Indian takeaway meal from the hotel restaurant when we arrived, the staff had kept the kitchen open for us. The room was great with a comfy bed and modern bathroom. Lovely morning walk along the beach. Overall it was the best weekend away."

"Delicious. Excellent service and lovely food. We had a gurnard burger each. Fish was light, perfectly cooked with a delicate light batter. Burger complete with freshly grated carrot and beetroot, cheese and lettuce. A good serving of yummy chips. Definitely going again."
