What whinfellwanderer likes about Jacks Chippy:
Open Wednesday and Saturday evenings. The takeaway was really nice. The service was extremely efficient and friendly. Although we didn't indulge, they also sell puddings with custard. Very tempting. read more.

What lynnk49t doesn't like about Jacks Chippy:
As they only serving fish and chips on two days per week we were looking forward to trying the fish and chips. The battered fish was passable but the chips were not good. I suspect they were frozen, which considering they advertise themselves as “Jack’s Chippy”, is a bit of a disappointment. The staff were friendly and helpful and the shop that operates throughout the rest of the week has some excellent items. read more.
