"We stopped by for a drink today but found it under renovation. This little hotel could be a sure winner if the rooms are redone so they are warm and damp free. The restaurant and bar areas could use a bit of an updating. We hope the works go well and look forward to their reopening!"

"They do themselves a disservice by having the menu advertise fish served with 'chunky chips ' and 'mushy peas '. In reality it is a meagre portion of frozen steak cut chips and a dessertspoon of smashed up garden peas. I was expecting some nice, hand cut proper spud chips, and real mushy peas are are a world apart from smashed garden peas. I 've had better in Wetherspoon 's for £8 including a drink!"

"Delighted with the delivery service. Messaged just before 5pm last night, and our order was delivered to our door in Kirkwall before 3pm today. Freezer now fully stocked with various fishy delights, and some chuffed to get fattie cutties and chutney too. Five stars"
