What User likes about Orkney Brewery:
Situated a short drive from Skara Brae, the brewery is a good place to stop for a bite to eat. We went for lunch menu has a wide choice and of course , the option to taste the beer brewed on site. A good option is the beer paddle which has different beers served in pint glasses. For me , the standout was the Orkney gold. Sandwiches were very good , full of filings and with local ingredients. What Rik Oostenveld doesn't like about Orkney Brewery:
Nice place but very commercial. The staff was not very interested. I wanted to do a tasting but could only choose from four beers on tap. I am a fan of dark beer but I couldn't get the Dark Island and the Dragonhead in my tasting. No info at the tasting, just looked it up myself. Too bad the experience could have been much more… missed opportunity I think. Buy the beer in the supermarket, it’s much cheaper!! View all feedback.
