Super kind and friendly staff. the room is ok. wbut no hot water for shower. The breakfast is not much. if you would like to see whale-shark. you can stay here one day before so you can be the first group next day around 6:00.

Upon arrival, at 10pm, we were promptly told there were only private rooms left. This would cost over 2000pp. Lucky I had looked up dorm beds (425pp) online and knew they were available. A hostel is suppoed to be somewhere you feel safe away from theft, away from scams and this place failed in providing this feeling. Using fear of finding alternative accommodation late at night for profit is poor behaviour. There were ants everywhere in the room and the bed was so wobbly it felt unsafe. We were told the ferry was at 10am and even though I asked if there were other times, I wasn't given any more information. We found the ferries went every hour. Nb I have been to 47 countries over 3 years. This is in the bottom 10%. Stay elsewhere imo The breakfast with coffee, and towel and soap, were free so that's a plus.

Obviously the location is the best. 200m to whaleshark watching tourist. Every left is good enough to stay. Btw, the Caferoniq opposite side have good meals. Rooms: 3 Service: 3 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great value

Good location for whale watching. Spacious rooms. A bit noisy, but half as wild.
