Went recently on a Saturday night. Busy, but not overly crowded. Seated promptly and the service was attentive. Not quite sure why we were not brought some pita and dips as other tables had them. "I thought this restaurant would be a wonderful experience if I was looking for something I should eat while I visited my older elders in rockland county. my father was concerned to go after kentucky fried chicken, I never had a sway on her food choices, and I wanted to stop in a super market to get some hummus to dinner. on a laune I decided to drive a bit further on 9w to check a small stripe mall and to my surprise good roots was there and open for the next 10 minutes. it presents itself as an almost food juice place, but to my surprise the daily special was a vegan reuben! there is nothing I love more than a reub! the flavors were noticeable and the sweet potato friries were also fantastic. the menu had all my beloved comfort food and some special surprises to match the different cultures of the owners. the staff was friendly and helpful, the prices were reasonable and the foot was fantastic. as a vegan I want them to do so well so please if they are close to this place in rockland, maybe to drive on the cat kills, stop and try them out. x nikki"
