What User doesn't like about Uomasa:
This was the bad experience I ever had in Japan. There were plenty of crabs in the fish tank but were not available to sell. They only sold the very small size without explanation. Never order squid in this restaurant. I ordered one for JYP1800. However I could enjoy one in next shop in JPY500 only read more.

Based on the average review of 4.2, the Uomasa is definitely worth a visit.

The waiters were so nice, saw this gem at one of the article and made a reservation. The price is very reasonable and the soup was outstanding!!

Excellent service and sushi. Some of the best I've had and the price wasn't *too* bad. They have an english menu for their main sets.

"I thought I would pay 2,000 yen, but it was so delicious that I wanted to eat more, so I added it! It's not a sophisticated restaurant like today, but it was a place where I could eat and drink very calmly. The location is right next to the station and the owner of the store is also friendly. I will come back to Otaru just to visit this store"

"The Otaru Beer brewery house is a great spot to end your day exploring the town. We went here on a rainy autumn day at around 4.30/5pm and it was really easy to find a table, but when we left around 6pm there was a line so it does get busy here. For us it was the perfect spot to warm up, drink some great German style beers and have some dinner. The beers were really good! We tried all 3 of the standard, main beers they offer (pilsner, dark and wheat beers) and all were equally good. The food was good too, although portion sizes are on the smaller side I would say so maybe stick to the proper mains if you're hungry. There is even a little gift shop to buy some Otaru beer themed gifts if you like. All in all would recommend coming here if you're visiting Otaru."
