"Just had beer here as we wanted to sit outside by the canal and they only allow drinks and no food on the canal tables. They also would not allow us to order a pretzel to take home with us. Staff were unfriendly. Not so impressed. The beer is good but expensive compared to local standards."

"This was a terrible experience overall. First of all, the food was not fresh at all. The shrimp that we were served had heads that were black and looked like they had been dead for a long time. The service was extremely poor. Some of the items that we ordered were never served, and we still ended up being charged for them on the bill. We had to argue with the waitstaff to have these items removed from the bill, even though it was quite obvious that the items that we had ordered never actually came out. The prices were high for the quality and quantity of food offered. This is extremely surprising for Japan, as the overall service level and quality of restaurants in Japan in general are top notch."

"It was great quality of foods especially sashimi. The price is reasonable too. Though, It is seems customers need booking otherwise they seemed limits your eating for 1hr. (I think it must depends on the situation, so if you are lucky you will be able to eat nice foods much longer than me) Anyway, I will visit again if I visit Otaru again."
