I love the thai basil in their rice wraps. I also appreciate how their pho broth is not oily and how the flavors are balanced and fresh. The portions are not skimpy. One of the only 2 vietnamese places I visit regularly in town. View all feedback.

I eat regularly at all types of Asian restaurants in the Ottawa area. This place was near the bottom. The sauce with the rice paper wraps was out of a jar. Can't even compare to real, fresh homemade peanut sauce you get at other places. My beef stir fry with vermicelli had a funny texture.....not sure but would guess too much corn starch or something. Such a great service! the pho was very tasty, perfect for a cold evening. their spring rolls and shrimp jumps are amazing and perfectly crispy. a not so hidden gem!
Order by skip them after reading these reviews and I am now a new rule. so good! I had the dizziness packs that were bigger than expected for the price. I also had the bark vermicelli and it was also delicious with a generous part. the fish sauce was not too fish, which was another plus! many thanks for such a delicious meal! you are now in my skip top 3 for if I need someone else to cook my food. prost!
Hintonburg has many restaurants and I am glad that jumproll in the 'hood! visited on a Saturday night and it was quiet. service was friendly and funny. the appetizer was tasty, as the pho both satisfied and satisfied me.
We have been customers here for the entire 23 years it has been in operation. A great mainstay to the Hintonburg food scene.
