I love this food stand and come here as often as I can. Food is amazing and portions are generous. Highly recommend trying this place at least once, don't miss out!
Our family has been following Sula in her various incarnations for the past few years. She is everywhere in Ottawa...downtown with her cart, on the frozen canal with a pop-up booth, in different parks and last Sunday at the Ottawa Food Truck Rendevous.Sula is from Tibet and makes great Asian food. Her Asian taco creations are light, tasty and full of healthy items and come with tofu, chicken or beef. My favourite dish from Sula is a Tibetan speciality - momos! These are like dumplings and Sula puts all kinds of fun stuff on them and you have a choice of hot, cucumber or ginger sauce and crushed peanut or sesame seed toppings,We bump into her so much she know all out names. Rumour has it she is planning to expand. Good luck Sula!
I first had Sula Wok’s Asian tacos at a food truck rally near my home and was sold enough on the incredible taste, sizable portions, and good value that two days later I chose to have my birthday lunch at their cart. So far I’ve tried the Tibetan beef, sweet and sour pork, and spicy tofu tacos, as well as their Tibetan momos. All were delicious. This may be a food cart, but the food is as good as any I’ve had in a sit down restaurant. I can see myself eating through their entire menu. Service is as friendly as the food is tasty and the whole set-up is incredibly well organized. Hand sanitizer is available and both regular and gluten free taco shells are offered. A range of tasty toppings and sauces are on hand to customize your food. Check their twitter feed or the Ottawa Street Food app for their current locations and hours, then do yourself a favour and visit the cart nearest you.
These were some mighty fine tacos! They have curry beef, sweet and sour pork, spicy chicken, and tofu.
My first experience, with their stand at the West End Food Truck Rally 2015.
