"Perfection. From the moment we walked in the door, all our troubles drifted away. A girl friend and I just wanted to have a girls day without husband's or kids. The atmosphere, the vibe, the lighting and style were amazing.There was not a single thing we didn't enjoy. But please please pleaselet me tell you about the scones.We said multiple times, they were by far the best thing we've ever eaten. Served warm with jam and whipped cream, but honestly, we preferred them plain. Buttery, lightly sweetened, crumbly. The closest I could compare would be shortbread cookies but so much better. We even got extras to bring home as we were to full to enjoy another there. The classic tea is just incredible. I highly recommend.We will absolutely be back and very soon. I'm already dreaming of another scone"

"The room was nice, the staff was friendly. A kind of tapas-style menu, some dishes were good some were so. The pork dish was over boiled and bland while the chicken cake delish, the octopus was a bit over boiled (it takes 10 seconds to... overboiled) but still tasty. I'd give them 5 stars alone on their 5 olives, but I can."

"My go to place for vegan baked goods. Not only are their cakes out of this world, but LJB is a pillar of the community. They support their workers by paying them a living wage. They have not wavered in their support of disabled people since the start of the pandemic they are one of the only businesses in Ottawa that still cares enough to require masks. It’s no wonder they are so well loved."
