"This is one of my favorite places in oxford, right in the heart of the cowley road – one of the most lively. I was here often for some great Arabic coffee and delicious baklava, but finally I felt compelled to try one of their main things. my only regret is that I didn't do it earlier! I had the kofta and can't wait to go to another. delicious lamb meatballs served with potato, tomato sauce and crumb infused brot."

"A great looking market place with lots of different shops to look into. Also have a few Alice in wonderland features hanging from the ceiling which looked pretty cool. "I’ve had fish and chips for many decades around the UK and am finding it difficult to do justice to describe how good this place is. Simple as it sounds to produce high quality fish and chips with crispy batter and precisely cooked chips in...a busy environment is difficult. These guys have it nailed. Service during reopening is excellent with a well ordered and controlled system for pre ordered food and queuing customers. Food portions are huge and satisfying but not fatty and stodgy. Please visit and enjoy a great British classic meal at it’s best. Show staff respect as they work very hard to create such good ol fish n chips. "
